Looking for a job in film...?

At the moment, I am currently looking for a job in film. I will be attending film school in June of 2010. Anyone have any openings or know of any companies that I should look at?

You have a long way to go before you should be looking for a job.





The "industry" is very volatile and you shouldn't possibly look at anything in terms of employment in film/entertainment that far in the future.





Make sure you pick a good place to do an internship at when you are in school. Pick a place that will expose you to as many contacts as possible.





Depending upon what school you are going to, you will more than likely have to start out as a Production Assistant unless you're going to a school like AFI.
Reply:Not if you have no qualifications or experience. You'll need a fair amount of luck too because everyone wants to be in the film industry so you've got the whole world to compete with.
Reply:Well, Pixar definitely should be one of your picks. These days, It's very hard to get a job in film/directing areas of studies. Blame those people who make the terrible worthless movies.
Reply:work for yourself, some of the most successful people in film started that way.
