it's pretty hard to get one. Any tips or any ideas of good places to work? I prefer being a waitress or working at a clothing store or a food place (not fast food)

Have you checked the ads in your local paper?
Have you put a resume together?
Ask people you know (parents/friends) if anywhere is hiring in your area that they think might be a good fit for you.
You may have to do some time in fast food to get your foot into the working world's door, most people did (myself included)
Most importantly, whatever job you end up getting, make sure you do your best once you have it, regardless of where you end up working.
