I have ten years experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing diesel equipment, mostly military. I'm also currently in school for computer aided drafting, which I've halfway completed. I'm proficient at editing. I write, cook, clean, paint; am semi-skilled in carpentry, operating heavy equipment. The problem is that i'm not a very loquacious interviewee. But wherever I've worked in the past, my employers couldn not say enough about my work ethics and productivity. Can anybody do me any favors? I'm looking for work anywhere in upper North America, particularly Alaska. And yes, I understand there are thousands of career sites out there - but I've come to realize that it really is who you know when it comes to tracking down a job. Any help is welcome.
