Hi I will be graduating from trucking school in southern CA. Any advice on where to apply and places to avoid?

The school you are finishing should have job placement services. Check with them first. If you want long haul, OTR, most of the major companies have openings, although most are interested in owner-operators. Be careful on that score. Don't buy ore lease any vehicle until you have some miles behind you - go as an employee first. Shop around in the phone book to find local truck companies. Make sure that you have a good resume put together.
