Reply:that was a mean thing for him to say! yes, you will be able to find a job and probably a good one. my youngest daughter is chubby too, she finished college and got a degree in computer programming, now she is working full time at the state capital building, programming computers.

Reply:i think some places wont hire people who are over weight, like the preppy stores, but everywhere i would imagine it not being a problem. tell your dad to go to hell for telling you that you are fat. that was inappropriate.

Statistically, though, it IS harder for a fat person to get a job when their competition is thin.
