I'm looking for a job ....?

I really need a job and I'm a recent college graduate with a degree in biological science. My illness has made it tough to look for one. I usually hate going outside and depressed.





The economy is bad too. I have to start paying my student loans.





What job should I look for? Should I consider fast food? I need a job as soon as possible.

We are in the same boat; I have a mental illness that prevents me from being able to work effectively. I dont know about the details of your illness, but have you considered applying for Social Security Disability? Its a last gasp, only work part of the time plan, but its a plan.

You need urgent help with the Agrophobia and depression so get that sorted.


Without these basics I can't see you holding down a job at anything and it is no good taking anything in desperation, you have to sort yourself out to give you confidence, if you are in the UK contact benefits ASAP and explain your position then get medical help.
Reply:You have a college degree, and you are asking Q%26amp;A for advice on what job to apply for? Dig a little deeper. Stay with your field of interest. Biological science is a little overqualified for macdonalds. Come on have some confidence.Looking for a job is harder than actually working. Dont give up, apply...apply...apply. Eventually the call will come. It is up to you.
Reply:You might be better off with an office job because you don't have to deal with the public too much and can just get your head down and concentrate on what you're doing. I have depression and I have promised myself I'll never work in the service industry again - it was too damaging, but you might be different.
