I can tell you that being aggrssive can help but it also has drawbacks. From a human resources point of view, calling your interviewer will show him/her that you are interested in the position at hand. On the flip side, calling too much may lead to the impression that you are despereate. I would recommend calling at least every 3 days and ask if they have specified a time frame for which they have to a make a decision by. You don't want to keep waiting until they make up their minds, while you could find something else. The second website helps alot as saying the right thing is as important as your skills. If it has been 3 weeks, I can honestly tell you they may found another candidate. Still, leaving a good impression could result in them calling you when you least expect it.

Reply:Personally, I would wait a couple days then ask again. The next time you talk to them, however, try asking them if they have a certain time frame that they are looking to fill the position. Or you can try to set another time to "touch base" with him/her. This keeps communication alive and will remind you of them.

Unless they hire you on the spot, I would consider putting together a resume and sending it to other potential employers. Sites such as craigslist.com, monster.com, careerbuilder.com, etc can put you into contact with many eager employers. If you do not have much/any work experience, you might want to focus on your skills/qualifications or the classes you've taken that may help you with that specific job. In any case, good luck with your job search! :)
Reply:Yeah you sould keep on calling them. be consistent about it because employers like employees to be consistent. But keep on calling to let them know that you are intereted in the job.
