Does GPA count when you look for a job after graduating? If it does how muchs good enough?

To be specific, im in Finance going towards a Bachelors degree. (let me know about USA and Canada or any one U can)
Does GPA count when you look for a job after graduating? If it does how muchs good enough?
Yes, GPA matters a lot. It is a way for employers to know what kind of person you are, how intelligent you are, and how dedicated you are. Graduating Cumma Sum Laude with 3.95 will impress 10x more than passing through college with a 2.8.





For an average job, anything about a 3.0 is acceptable.





But if you are looking for major financial firms like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, UBS, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch. You will not get a job unless you are top of your class, with 3.85+ GPA, top 10 business school.
